This. The /alt/ does not stand for alt-right, and kektards shouldn't be forgiven for thinking it does because "you could be forgiven for thinking it does" leads to circlejerks by shitposting incels who think Japan is /pol/ incarnate.
>inb4 b-but muh idols are racist
Tweet at any /alt/ idol and tell them you're a fan from any other country and I guarantee, if she replies, it will be "WOW, FOREIGNERS LIKE ME??? <3 SWEET" or some such.
>inb4 b-b-but she's clenching her teeth having to pretend to not be racist!!!!
Pic related is how I imagine those who'd argue that look, or rather the expression on a sweaty neckbeard face because we all know there are no cute girls posting here and that incels make faces like this in front of the mirror thinking they look cute when in reality it looks like they're about to rape a fifth-grader.
>inb4 projection
Yes, I was briefly a /pol/tard who thought Japan is a racist fantasy land. Guess what, it's not. It's a real country with real people. It may come as a shock to some of you, but even idols are real people! The last thing they need is the weight of the world on their shoulders, they already work hard enough when they just want to have fun and make some money. Whether idols are "pure" or not, doesn't matter one bit. It's their life and they're not all cut form the same block, they don't need your permission for anything.
>inb4 d-don't slander Japan!!!!
Sure it's fun to think Japan is a flawless utopia, whatever that means to you, but again, Japan is a real country and as such the society faces several complicated issues and idols are not exempt. They're not born in a void. The idol industry has its own fair share of problems, but they're not unique to Japan at all. Those very same problems exist in entertainment industries across the globe. Japan doesn't exist in a bubble, and while idols seek to create a bubble for themselves and their fans, that bubble is not reflective of real life.
>inb4 idols ARE pure!!!!
Again, every idol is an individual. Some may in fact be virgins and oblivious to sexuality, but on the other hand some may be turbosluts in real life. It's unknowable what they do in their private life and that's how it should be, as that's exactly what the word "private" means.
