agreed, some of the DMM comments on her later Madonna releases were really mean, i honestly think they cut her early because she wasn't fitting their glamorous brand image anymore

dude, she gained a metric ton of weight since (which i don't actually mind at all) and got a less flattering haircut. i feel like chin-length hair rarely works for round overweight women so that combination at the same time aged her another 10 years. the slightly looser shoulder length style from before suited her so much, i don't know why she changed it. that being said, the chin-length hair she had at (re)debut still worked at the time because she wasn't nearly as fat as she is now
