>>12084722 here. I can agree with you that perhaps the more recent Touhou games aren't as interesting as some of the older ones. However, if people were to casually glance at the gameplay/music for the most recent Touhou games and compare it to Kancolle, they'd probably think the Touhou games would look a lot more interesting.

That's why this increasing trend amongst Touhou artists to switch to Kancolle seems so forced and fabricated.
