Because your average girl needs a daily validation fix, it can be anything from someone saying she's beautiful to camwhoring on the internet. The problem comes when this need for validation becomes almost obsessive, as is the case with camwhores. They cannot go a single day without this validation, and they can feel 'validated' even by negative attention directed their way. So they persist regardless. In short, it's attention whoring but with the conscious desire of making themselves feel like they are worth something, usually it comes about as a result some real or imagined insecurity, be it something that happened in the past or something that is happening in the present. People exercise these insecurities in different ways, for men it could be swearing at people on the internet all the time (pic related), but for women it is usually centered around getting validation in terms of how they look, as a woman's primary objective in life is to turn heads, make other women jealous of her and make men desire her.

So have the nintenqueers been fagging up /v/ since Brawl's release then? How bad has it been?

Okay /jp/. Imagine you are a loser. You have no social life, you have no goal, you have no life. You sit at home all day and just do as you please: Household chores? You spit on 'em. Grocery shopping? Your housemates are good for those. Cooking? See grocery shopping.
