there are few days between years i feel like a gust of light emanates from my being in some sort of enlightening life-changing moment, when all the fear vanishes and i'm overwhelmed with hope and certainty

but never have i actually used these empowering moments to leave this hole
only to wake up the next morning back in the same internet all day while being nagged about a future i've already planned at the end of a rope routine

i've always thought you could find answers just by looking within your self. that all you had to do was put the pieces together and you'll come out from the cave with world changing stuff
now i've gone mad and afraid to leave my head
the only bit of wisdom i've learned is this was a stupid thing to do, and even if i did know everything
it wouldn't matter if i didn't do anything
