This reminds me. I have been thinking for a while about stories involving mamono science and magic science. Stuff like overly detailed descriptions of reproductive anatomy of a certain species, spell grimoirs, or sociological analysis of a certain tribe of subgroup of a species, written by either human or mamono.
Stuff like that one (real) research about how pairs that liked eachothers sweat smell are on average happier and have stronger bonds, but mamonofied, so like sabbath published research(propaganda) about how cunny is the best, or a gremlins research of mantis armor that lets her construct a stronger robot, or a scientific journal about some obscure minor god that is worshipped in the corners of the mamono continent.
I think it's pretty unexplored, but i don't want to assume too much, so maybe an oldfag could tell me if there is already such a thing. Or maybe i can inspire a writer to write something like that. Who knows?
