I understand your position, and I operate along the same guidelines, only more lax. I think completely original work definitely has a place here. /a/ stuff can go in /a/(even though those threads are totally dismal for OC) and so on, but those original works are worth a post.

Since there's no /fig/, I think these from-scratch models are the very stuff of what makes up /jp/ OC. Even if there were, I don't think any other board gets such a wide variety of media coming into their OC threads. Could be wrong, but that's what I like about these threads.
