This isn't the proper place to discuss the incorrect usage of outdated terms like 'left-wing' and 'right-wing', although what is true is the average real 'leftist' sees idols as young women exploited by corporations for profit to satisfy the market of lonely men and the love ban is a patriarchal burden that emphasizes female purity. I don't see how a 'left-winger' can enjoy idols with no guilt, Japan is socially and economically conservative/centrist with nationalist tendencies (the education system is undoubtedly nationalist, which I say as a good thing). But this confusion stems from the silly left-right dichotomy that makes little sense in modern politics.
