Neither of them do that by instinct. Dark elves usually leave on journeys to seek out a husband, and dhampirs are no more incestous than average monsters. Yes they may defeat their mother in order to make her more honest with their father, but that doesn't often lead to incest (it can, but usually doesn't, since the profile notes they only "sometimes" decide to become the wife of a man married to a vampire).
