Eh. Either way, it's clear YouTube fucked something up again. If anyone sees recommendations like that, you can just click on the three dots to the right and choose "Not Interested" and it should stop after a while.

As far as the spam bots go, I've seen the JP viewers mention them being more frequent, but I don't know if they ever report them. And YouTube's reporting is garbage, so it'll never get fixed by that. I really doubt they'll do anything about the link shorteners or even link spam either. It's a problem that's probably going to go unsolved for a long time.
