Could be. According to the result page I have captured it once on easy and 7 times on normal so that adds up.

Which reminds me, I'll need to play the story modes on harder levels some time.


Anyway, try using Meiling's alt skill "Colorful Rain" for story mode. It does tremendous damage if all shards hit. Takes some 5 seconds to capture most of catfish's spells with that if leveled up. Also, when you have the opponent down, use the default 22 move repeatedly for some nice damage. Spells are rather useless in story mode so do a specific deck.

Pretty much this. I do main Youmu and Meiling besides her, so it's probably just that I have a liking for the faster characters.
