Okay well, assuming you're being serious, I'll expand on what I already said.

Being attracted to 2D girls (or boys, if you're into that) is a foundational aspect of otaku culture, but there's actually very few ways to express or discuss it, there's a lot of weebs out there who don't really have a place to talk about or celebrate those feelings. A lot of us have been coming to /jp/ for a long time and seen the general quality of discussion plummet, but people still want to express themselves somehow, so you get these statements and desires flung into the void.

Secondly, there's a sort of ironic-performative aspect to it here on /jp/ specifically, which is a lot more difficult to explain; as the general tone of discussion has fallen, people imitate the kind of content they see in an effort to participate. The statements may be true expression, but they exist purely to just join in.
