In web development we have what we call the model-view system.

You're just tweaking the view, namely the layout and content of the pets and items. But the model, the actual code and gameplay mechanics remain the same as it's the one given by v-petsite.

I'm being honest here, I don't feel attracted to this at all. Was too old for the neopets days, far older now. As I said, if it was a raising sim I might be interested. Having a cute touhou and raise her like a daughter, that would be interesting.

That said, I'd much, much rather start at that shrine. I assume they'd have more money and food. Being a musician as I am, it's only proper that I seek the patronage of the gods (regardless of whether I'm good enough for it or not, it's still normal for me to ask for it~), and Sanae's a good enough girl to let me stay even though I'm useless.

From there, I learn shougi, and use it to gain the respect of the tengu and kappas. Earn money here and there with music and by helping kappas with their inventions.

Growing old among young, beautiful women is a good enough ending for me.
