AKB has 4 sister groups(NGT,HKT,NMB,SKE)

Nogi got 1(KYK)

Once Nogi have more than 3 sister groups, it's time to split up. Before you "u dont get to decide pleb" me, I have reasons.

-With just 6 groups we're getting an average of 18 hours / thread. That's less than a day. Now imagine AKB with 5 groups and Nogi with 4 groups. You want 10 hours / thread? Also people that had a 10-day and/or full month vacation can catch up to the thread. I know some folks here tries to scan all the threads they have missed.
-More shitposting. Every sister group and its members has it's own meme, you all guys probably know it. It'll get more intoxicated. So split up.
-2016 and people still comparing them, splitting up will end that.
-Content would be more focused. Nogi content for the Nogi group. AKB content for the AKB group.
-They really are different, Graduated Rena already said that. Stop with your "only difference is theater performances". Although, I still don't understand the kennin and Ikoma ranking.

tl;dr It's bound to happen, stop being lazy. YOU can follow 2 threads and YOU know it. Believe in your wota soul.
