Also, I realized there's no way to swap clothes right now. A loli's clothed are just randomly chosen at birth. (And for Japanese lolis I have them have only a 2/3 chance of school uniform and 1/3 of blue sukumizu, and hawaiian ones are always hula skirts... of course I just put this in for fun, I could change it later).

Would you need a menu for this tonight/tomorrow?

I wouldn't recommend this. I'd probably go for something designed for VNs. Game Maker is made more for real time action games like platformers, shmups, etc.

I've got many years of experience in GML and I cannot recommend it at all for a VN.

Just use something like python/ren'py.

Well, Unteralterbach has minigames like that like the ending, although if you want even more interaction than that then I'm not entirely sure what you'd want to do. I haven't actually used Ren'Py since I don't make VNs so I cannot say what it's like, but I do think you should definitely check it out instead of writing your own shit.

Because that really sucks. Trust me, I've done it before. pic related, it's my project. if I was making a VN only I would have just used a prebuilt engine for it, but I wanted a lot more than that.

There won't be much in the way of combat like GTA though. It will be more turn-based like Pokémon and using a vn-eseque menu-system (pic related).
