The only Taroverse game that comes close to DoD1 for me is probably the original Nier. But even then, there's still a pretty huge margin between how much I liked DoD1 and how much I liked Nier. It's one of those games that properly conveys the feeling of an on-going apocalypse. The OST was also amazing.
