I think humans are nature's singularity. Just like we want to create a technology that will develop itself on its own so we won't be able to predict its advance anymore. The same way we are the first species that are able to alter it's own genetic code and alter whole environment on your whim, making evolution unpredictable. The question is when are we going to make satisfying AI and human-like robots, before or after the singularity. But it will surely happen, sooner or later, there is nothing stopping a machine from getting sentient and inteligent.


In any way, all I want, is to have androids everywhere like in Chobits or something. So anyone with fair amount of money, will be able to buy their own personalized robo-gf and Miku might become the most popular design.
