Death Rabbits fag here, don't mind me I'm just passing through and then going back to wandering the void of the /jp/ catalog until we get our own thread again.

Just to compare, DR is very much an idol group while BM are not. The difference isn't in the music (since 『怪獣ANPONTAN』 is heavier and more "metal" than what BM has recently put out regardless) or the live band vs track playback.

The difference is that DR writes diaries on ameblo just like SG, and they have their own little webcast comparable to LoGirl streams just like SG, and their pictures have been featured on LoGirl daily just like SG members & graduates, they also interact with fans on twitter and have a vine account, etc.

That's the difference, the girls are put out there and the fans get to know and love them (or the very least their scripted personalities). That's what being an idol is all about.

With BM and Koba... nothing. You have the occasional interviews but I don't have to tell you about OTFGK and how many of those interviews are bland and 'business-only' with only a few rare ones occasionally being fun/funny/cute.

Is the Web Apocalypse thing still around for Babymetal? That was like the one thing they had but iirc that was like from 2013.
