If you use a low cost bot, you will have less stats. More importantly slower movement which means that it will take more time for you to be at a position where you can deal max damage and you will die faster because you have lower hp/tgh and can't dodge shots as well as higher cost bots.

None of the bots I've used during final beta has cost above 800, with weapons equipped and all.
