Touhou is Touhou, the fandom is the fandom. Touhou has its own defined canon, which is updated by ZUN. You might not be aware of it, you might not like it and that's okay, but it still exists. You can't substitute it for something you pulled out of your ass.

Reimu is greedy and that has been imposed by ZUN to the fans, not the opposite. Look at most of the fanwank you are fussing so much about. Reimu is completely watered-down in this aspect in most fanworks.

As for the kitsune in WaHH, how is she influenced by fanon? I want to hear YOUR reasons on that one. ZUN never said the only kitsune is Ran. Just like he proved that there are other tengu or kappa or even humans and gods except the ones in the games.
