I'd rather have her and Orin as equally aged sisters,we'd go out and play together and when it gets dark,ha it's always dark underground, we would come home to Koishi and Satori who take care of us after a long day of playing around helll.
I'd imagine Orin to have more common sense than Okuu though, being the one who is against mine and Okuus stupid ideas because she knows that she will be the one who has to get us out of a pinch in the end

Helping any regular person with their emotional burdens I wouldn't say is an easy thing, but if you're really referencing Satori in this case, her emotional burdens would be much greater than any normal person's, having lived so long and under the hate and fear from so many.

I do wonder what sort of person would be able to understand that and maybe not help per se, just lighten it up

Just finished Touhou Royal Battle so this thread is exactly what I need now

"The Palace of the Earth Spirits (地霊殿, Chireiden) is where the heroines visit in Stage 4 of Subterranean Animism. "Chireiden" is also the Japanese title of the game.
It is a Western-style mansion with many stained glass windows on the wall placed below the Hell of Blazing Fires. It said that the Palace was constructed after the underground was separated from Hell, thus many evil spirits remain in what was the former Hell.

Satori took control of the Palace and managed it by herself with the help of her pets, keeping it relatively peaceful. Of her pets, Rin's duty is to carry corpses to the Hell of Blazing Fires for the heating of the place and Utsuho is to maintain that heat. The other pets' duties were said to be tending the garden and playing with Satori's sister, Koishi."

I always thought that the pets Satori sent to play with Koishi were Orin and Okuu.Looks like Chireiden is the best mansion in Gensokyo after all since there are touhous which may only exist in our imagination.

Chireiden general I guess
