I was already an avid Touhou player and I learned that /jp/ liked Touhou a lot so here I am.

I 1CC'd EoSD on normal over a period of a few months. It took a while but it definitely helped me along with getting better at the games.

I would suggest starting off with IN as, I find at least, it's an easier game. As well as this, you can use the spellcard practice mode to help you with the tricky ones and you can practice the more "random" spellcards over and over again to help with your peripheral vision. I enjoy using vpatch to turn it up to 90FPS and playing the spellcard practice (still can't come close to doing an actual run on 90FPS). TH13 is the same way; easy and has spellcard practice.
