Meguri hasn't ended yet, so that's an odd question. Although it's confirmed that the ending will be different (and the anime ending was already used as a bad end loop in the manga).

Meguri is generally better regarded because it shows more of the characters beyond Satoko and Rika, gave more emphasis to the loops breaking Satoko rather than high school (while also making her suffer more in high school, but tying it to the classmates rather than Rika conveniently being fine without talking with Satoko for months even though she isn't supposed to want to let go of Satoko) and now Oniakashi had more new content, like more of Rina's backstory (as opposed to a single line in the anime) and Rika doing more stuff in the background even if she had to fail in the end.

The ending is supposed to be different too, based on one of Tomato's posts last December, and I'd say this page pretty much rules out Meguri just ending on the same note Sotsu did.

Although there are many different ways that could go.

>Completely different ending for both witch and human plots
>Witch stuff is the same, but human side is different
>Mostly the same ending in rough lines, but we get some kind of timeskip afterwards and that's the actual ending.

Nah, Rika dies when they attempt to do an early Sotsu ending. And Tomato had already said the ending would be different.
