Not as hyped as when I heard https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JR0SvgLy_D8&list=PLEC69B03890CBA9BA&index=20 in the Rena vs Keichi battle scene on the roof. That tone change after one extremely emotionally charged episode, when things are at their bleakest... and Rena and Keichi have a shonenfight under the moon on the school rooftop, laughing like madmen. Because of course they do. Of course they do. Why wouldn't they?

Ryukishi is really a master at sudden tone change. That's still one my favorite moment of Higurashi, if not my favorite.
