Why do I suck at Touhou?

I can clear EotSD, PCB, and IN after using all three continues, but I can't beat stage 4 on MoF, SA, and UFO. This is all on normal.
How do I stop sucking so bad?

ok, can some one PLEASE explain to me what the appeal of Touhou is? It's too fucking hard, at least for someone who hasn't been playing manic shooters since they were 5 or something! I mean, every time I try to play, I end up getting frustrated playing on easy, which isn't fun. And last time I remember, GAMES WERE SUPPOSED TO BE FUN! Games aren't supposed to be dick waving contests on the internet that proves whose the better human being!

You see, every time I start playing, I like it, but as I go on, I keep dying, and eventually have to start over. From the beginning. The same levels. Over, and over, and over again. That's boring. Really boring. And you feel like your getting nowhere. Eventually, you get frustrated, because you read about how the game is "so fucking easy lololol", when these are just people who've played for possibly hundreds of hours on end, just memorizing bullet patterns and practicing to see whose the best (as I said before, dick waving contests). Now, I do like some aspects of the game, like some of the bullet patterns, the music, and the NEW challenges, but the NEW challenges are few and far between. I've tried 2 games, EoSD and Imperishable Night, and while I do like Imperishable Night better than EoSD, I still need someone to explain the fucking everlasting appeal that some people claim this game has.
