The wording is a bit vague but it sounds like the first gen members had an idea of her plans to graduate but she hadn’t officially decided yet. Jurina seems to be one of the first she confirmed her graduation with (given that Masana thought Rena wasn’t going just yet)

I don’t think they are best friend level like Jurina with some of the AKBs but I also doubt the ‘Rena hates Jurina’ narrative, she’s always said she is more of a strict older sister and Jurina was more upset after she left than with any of the other graduates in SKE.

Twitter follows aren’t as meaningful as you think, Kojiharu doesn’t follow Jurina either but I don’t think anyone doubts they aren’t friends (also Jurina follows both Rena and Haruna)
