Is it really that bad? I assumed english edition was the way to go for learning purposes. Also I never realized the jp edition was in the CoR, guess I should have looked into that beforehand
But oh well, I bet you guys are just trying to make me feel bad about my purchase aren't you?

Hey DJT I need your help.

What would you do?
You are reading and encounter a word that you want to mine, but it's not only one word it also has a particle (word+ni for example) or even a partice + another word attached (word+de+word)?

Let's take an example you find in core as well 一緒に, why did they put the に in there as well does the meaning differ from 一緒 alone?
I noticed sometimes the word changes it's meaning slightly due to it's added particle BUT it's not a different word and you should be able to understand the change if you ever read a grammar guide.

What if you can mine a little phrase, do you mine the whole phrase or only the words you don't know?

For example 一筋縄では行かない instead of memorizing everything wouldn't it be better to understand its parts?

Like 一筋縄(ordinary means) では(by) 行かない(can't do) for example.
