My first time was very underwhelming from some combination of high expectations and not knowing what I was doing yet (finding the right balance of lube, getting used to a new sensation). Second time was worlds better and I have a decent collection now. Hand still feels good enough and more convenient such that I don't use them every time, though. Also, cleaning is pretty quick once you develop your routine.

Nor do they fill the hole in my heart from a lack of intimacy in my life.
