It's not even the same scenario, since she's shooting people in the classroom. She cried while killing Rika, but she killed Shion in cold blood and only cried afterwards, and then was just cold to Satoko before laughing at Rika being dead. I think this is more about what story she will get in the manga.

There are a couple of oddities in the Gou adaptation, like Rika being sure someone killed her in Onidamashi and everyone leaving together with Satoko and Mion in Watadamashi. That said, the fact that Tomato's credits changed with Meguri does suggest he got more creative control there compared to before.

We don't really know how the manga will portray things behind the scenes yet. Even the infection scene seems to be different since Mion and Satoko leave with Rika and Rena rather than by themselves. Although obviously it still will be Satoko infecting her somehow.

The Watadamashi manga also had the oddity that Mion was with Rika and Rena in the scene where she was injected in the anime. They're also shown together in the next page. They're never alone here.
