As I said the SoEW example wasnt a good one, and was more of just a bit of messing around. Too say PC98 games arent canon is wrong though. Despite their apparent irrelevancy everything in them is still canon, though individual aspects are not if newer stuff contradicts them (as per what ZUN has told us regarding them). Im not really downplaying brown haried Futo, im acknowledging it for what it is which is a small inconsistency that ZUN obviously didnt care too much about. There is no way in hell he didnt look at and approve character art of all things.

When did I literally ever say they had too be 1:1 too their folklore counterparts? I specifically told you why with Tengu distinction can be seen as a bit more important. Wings too depict a Crow Tengu, wolf ears too depict a Wolf Tengu, A long nose to depict a Long Nose Tengu, and so on all make sense. There are not different types of Satori like there are Tengu.

This part is funny. I actually never even gave a headcannon. Im arguing why the art of official material shouldn't be disregarded. Its also a bit ironic when you say I dont care about canon yet you literally just said PC98 isnt canon.

Gonna give my prediction here:
The Hell conflict will mostly be dealt with over the course of the next few VFiS chapters with maybe a little crossover with WaHH (in terms of story). Seriously doubt we will actually get a new game if this end up being correct.
Also im not expecting too serious of a story here, since it is the fairy's manga after all. If it was more like FS in tone then a more serious plot would have more weight. Either way, cant wait for the fairy's too save the day.
