I finished hiragana a couple days ago and finished katakana yesterday. I got Anki set up with Core 2.3k. My plan was to do the cards I needed today and read some Tae Kim afterwards. Each day I plan to go like that until I'm ready to mine.

But holy shit, this is brutal. I'm not remembering anything. The kanas were easy to memorize, but I'm not remembering any vocab. Before I say anything else, fuck of tatsu, I do not want Ankidrone.

Anyway, am I really just supposed to just brute force this? I feel like I'm not remembering any words with kanji in them. And weren't these cards supposed to have images too? I've seen none so far. Regardless, I'm having a lot of difficulty remembering anything. Is it really just brute forcing until I somehow remember?
