Yukari has plenty of canon to realize the truth of her character, so let me be clear here:

If you think Yukari is cool, powerful, and generally a genius who is basically the best, you have fallen for her obvious bullshit hook line and sinker and are bad at comprehension.

Yukari almost always acts behind peoples backs. Yukari avoids direct confrontation in nearly all cases imaginable. Yukari flees from or bows to powerful characters. Yukari basically claims to be able to do anything with her abilities and has shown at least twice that she definitely can't, and sometimes needs very specific conditions to do this or that. Yukari manipulated her article in perfect Memento in Strict Sense to make it talk her up more. Canonically, the only person who has claimed, without proof, that Yukari is an invincible genius is Yukari herself. Yukari is, literally, a coward, it is just that not a lot of people say it. Why? Because that's HER ENTIRE GAME. She manipulates, she hides in the gap, and she propagates mystery. She is a youkai in the truest sense, lurking and never being fully comprehensible. She's definitely a powerful and impressive being, but she is not the most and she knows her limits better than anyone else. That is on purpose.
