I'd go back in time and force Studio Nomad to not try adapting a manga less than 20 chapters long into an anime. Their anime comes out a year later now, but actually follows the manga for the most part and as a result there's no canon spilt with the Rozen Maiden community anymore. Now we can all suffer together on mostly the same page.

A lot of it was plain inferior to counterpart events in the manga. Bara and Enju are ultimately just filler villains for the anime and honestly, what else could they do with them? Bara's dead, their story's over.
The only thing I will give Nomad Rozen credit for is making Suiseiseki's pacifism actually relevant because everyone's always shounen fighting in that anime. The manga's not like that.
