Translation will literally never happen, the lead on the team said they're not going to do it because there's a Switch port happening (at the time of writing) which is better story and gameplay-wise. Which is a fucking stupid argument because now nobodies going to translate it unless the devs themselves get a team on it, and good fucking luck with that becoming more than just a dream. There's also another translation patch came out that's just your usual MTL garbage that doesn't even do menus so isn't worth counting.

GAP was a somewhat understandable reactionary kneejerk response to a single repo going down based almost entirely around /jp/, modern-day at that. Even putting aside my grievances with it and the board as I still believe it's always a good thing for people to put personal effort into archivals rather than just bookmarking a site or three and hoping they never go down, there's not really much to be said about it in the first place as it already made the waves it was going to with the people who'd actually dump relatively obscure games in the first place.

Honestly I don't even see the problem with wanting royalties for voice work or translations or even fuckin QA testing, if only because it means a little bit less money is going to a bank account that'll rarely if ever be withdrawn from. Doesn't seem too impressive at first but she does have the highest number of elemental bullets in the entire game with straight up 0 non-elemental ones, has speed scaling of up to 160% scaling so her LW damage is still pretty good. She is also another one of those characters who does not have a perfect story card yet because her LW is Star/Moon and fluid type. There are almost no cards that even boost fluid damage, with 35% being the most. Kinda remains to be seen how much damage she can really do in the end. Not sure if all that evasion is ever gonna matter for anything.

i don't know if its the right term for it but i meant chats showing up on the stream itself, not in the niconico danmaku way but in a little corner of the screen. i dont think that would be it though because i dont really see many people who do that with chatters names + messages + icons, usually its just the icons and messages, so the idea that "the words sex fart and maybe even cum floating by on the stream caused you to get your channel banished to the shadow realm" doesnt make much sense as the names of these spambots are where that stuff is, not the messages or icons. plus its also easily solvable by just not having that on stream which most of the chuubas i watch already do
but also this is youtube and trying to understand how it works in any capacity makes my head hurt

Global already has multiple characters who can clear that that stage even at 1 star and none of it is in there.

I am not sure if Global can even full auto the 3-2 card mission because characters like Miko or Eiki are not in their game yet and no one wants to use 6 characters for grinding.

I have no clue what the logic behind some of those placements is supposed to be. Mokou is A tier even though she kills herself and is worthless for auto battles so I guess they know about stalling tactics in the tower with her but at the same time all the tanks are low tier besides Reimu who can not even heal herself so apparently they are not stalling after all.

This was a "problem" long before vtuber boards were a thing. Source; I made a thread about one of ZUN's many drinking streams years and years ago and only got a handful of posts before it died. But it's only a problem in name; /jp/ doesn't need to have OMFG ITS HAPPENING ITS HAPPENING BROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOS types of speedy on-the-spot reactions to everything like you've said in the first part of your post which makes this even more confusing. And there's no point going into a thread that could be about something and derailing it by shitting on the existence of another thread when it's not specifically relevant either, doubly so in a thread like this that's about something that isn't meta to begin with. Just anon trying to talk about an announcement relevant to what most of us care about.

That being said, like with all newer threads on this board, I lurk for a bit to see whats up and the Hololive thread looked like hot flaming garbage around when it first started, and a month or two ago when it got a pinned thread with like 6k posts in an hour. I don't think I've ever seen a thread that isn't some internet-wide thing like the panda dying go that fast in my fucking life It even lagged my computer.. But again, irrelevant to the topic at hand and I wouldn't really mention it otherwise.

In order to get the maximum amount of attack or defense, you need to use a weapon as your base that has a slow growth rate. The jap wiki weapon list assigns each weapon a different letter to show their grow rate, with A being the fastest and I or above being the slowest.

In addition to that, you also need to meld the weapon with a weapon from the same family, for example if you are using the Miracle Purification Greatrod as your base weapon then you need to fuse it with either the Feather Duster Thingy, the 2nd level of it or another Miracle Purification Greatrod.

This makes picking your base weapon quite the important decision because most of the slow groth rate weapons are high tier weapons that are not quick to get for additional melding. If you are using the Moonlight Ruin Greatsword, you would have to craft additional Moonlight Ruin Greatswords to meld into the base weapon since it is the only weapon in that family. Yorihime's Sword is already another family since you need to use Alchemy to create the Ruin Sword from instead of just leveling it up.
