Just hope for more Higurashi Mei crossovers then. The whole drive of the Nao/Miyuki/Kazuho story is them refusing to just accept the past, so an Umineko crossover where they actually change the world could fit thematically.

I wouldn't be surprised if they eventually pull something like that in a Mei collab, where it probably wouldn't get the same negative reaction it'd get as a standalone Umineko entry. But they first would need a lot more sprites for the characters on the island.

Not that anon, but her backstory is really close to Ange's in some aspects.

That said, it's clear the set up here is different and she probably will actually end up changing her world by the end.

The Dark Awakening event story already had the "Nao returns to the real world without magic and has to face the life ahead after making peace with her past" conclusion, so the actual story ending must be something different.
