I remember when you had to reload the entire page to see the new replies, there were no (you)s or scripts for hovering the mouse over replies,you had to hover to the top and type a reply and posting sent you to the front page, sage was visible and abused like a downvote system it was put an email field that no one ever used for anything else, you had to use /rs/ or wurmnight for hentai and one Manga for manga, I remember moot, I remember how the site was hacked via a dns hijack and how he was nonchalant about it responding to the hackers demands by saying he was going to go eat soup instead, I remember the wikipedia spam, I remember meido, I remember easymodo and how ghostposting during down times was comfy meta time ,I remember the nightly ronery threads, I remember the textboards, I remember when fansubs dominated and CR was not a pay site or officially sanctioned in any way and simply streamed fansubed stuff, I remember when reddit didn't exist and the site people told you to go back to was gaiaonline , I remember taiga and lanced jack
