How come they couldn't have made Velvet a master of chaldea? He could have easily been a staff/overseer despite meager magic circuits and would have added way more personality than whatever we got with Guda. Even if Shirou was part of the whole mess (which would have alarmed the beasts), the beasts would have barely batted an eye to waver. Plus he has experience and more resourceful overall.

Theoretically, would Velvet be the bane of many DAA existence? If he was the same character with growth from Fate timeline in tsukihime, he could decipher many of the trickiest DAA that eluded annihilation.
