Don't worry Anon, I'm sure that Kasen's story will conclude with her finally freeing herself from Yukari's manipulations, remembering her true self, freeing anon, and finally joining the ranks of the Celestials, as depicted in "The Legendary Oni Slut Returns: Fucking And Sucking Her Way Into Heaven".

"Wasn't me." Reimu said, shaking her head. "Those two," She pointed a thumb back at Yamame and I, "Went and asked Suika to look in on your hermit counterpart."

I awkwardly waved at the arm and found that Yamame had shifted herself behind me. I looked back and raised an eyebrow, noting that she looked a little nervous. I supposed that made sense, since she seemed to hold Ibaraki-douji in high regard and was probably worried about meeting what was essentially one of her heroes. After I stared a little longer, she finally moved back from behind me to beside me. "U-Um, hi..." Yamame stammered out. "You - Um, are you really Ibaraki-douji?" She asked in a somewhat small voice. It was a little disconcerting, I thought, because she'd been so energetic about it the whole way up. I supposed it was easy to be energetic until you were actually in the situation, though. "I'm a - I've heard a lot about you."

The arm raised an eyebrow. "You could say that, I guess." She slowly replied. Was she keeping the fact that she was only a part of the oni a secret? "I'm not quite the whole thing, and I'm afraid you have me at a disadvantage. What's your name?" I was surprised at how polite the arm's tone had become. She was still brushing fragments of rock from her hair every now and then, but otherwise, she seemed about as polite as can be.

"I-It's, um, Yamame Kurodani." Yamame stuttered, bowing so deeply that I thought she was about to fall over. The arm returned the gesture. "I'm a tsuchigumo from the underground tunnels leading to Former Hell."

"Former Hell?" The arm repeated. "Where Hoshiguma and Shu- Ibuki came from?" Yamame nodded somewhat timidly. "I see...That's where most of the oni in Gensokyo live." She looked over at Reimu and I. "From her memories." She told us. She'd spent some time merged as the full Ibaraki-douji, and I assumed that she was referring to the memories she'd gotten from Lady Kasen in that time. "I've gained an interest in travelling there." She said, slowly.

"We'll see." Reimu said shortly. "What are they doing?" She nodded over toward the three in the distance.

"A game, as I understand it!" The arm said, sounding a little more cheerful. "See who can punch the other the furthest away. We used to play that on Mt. Ooe, back in the day." She threw a fist out at the air in front of us, and Reimu suddenly had a stack of ofuda in her hand. “Oh, calm down, Hakurei Shrine Maiden. We both know how that particular song and dance goes.”

"...Right..." Reimu slowly said, shoving the ofuda back into her sleeve. She then turned and looked at me with a resigned expression. "Told you they'd get weird ideas like this." I'd expected more damage, really. "Eh, Kasen probably told them not to."

"I'd better get back." The arm told us, taking to the air and shrinking until she joined the others.

"Well, they weren't doing that when I walked in a few minutes ago." Reimu muttered. "Oni are so weird." She looked over at Yamame, who was fidgeting a little. "Well?"

"She, um, she's definitely her, but...not quite." Yamame said, looking somewhat distracted. "Like she's not all complete." That made sense, I supposed. "Should we see the others?"

"No need." Reimu said with a slight bit of apprehension in her voice. "Move...two steps to the right." She told me, and I did so, just in time for another blurry figure to come flying past me and into the ground. "Oh, they're aiming at you." She told me, with little interest. I raised my eyebrows and asked if I should be worried about that. "Nah, I'll keep you out of the way."

>Imagine thinking the nonexistence of dialogue implies it isn't popular for people to want there to be dialogue.

>It doesn't seem to be very popular *to write for*, at least
