Just look for one that has an output like this instead of a grid in front, it'll focus the air and let stuff dry faster.
Past that I don't think you're gonna find a specific thing you need to look out for (unless you are living somewhere where the defroster option, that most have, is needed) for just drying. Mine has an air filter with a carbon filter which doubles it as a purifier but it's a more premium feature.
It mostly comes down to the capacity it can store so you empty it less often, the power it consumes (more power just generally means it'll get work done faster but you can also look at the air flow per hour for it), the liters it can produce per day (which again, mostly tied to the power and air flow). Generally they are all mostly the same there because if you one runs at 250W instead of 500W then you'll just have it running for 2 hours instead of 1. Same if your room is small, instead of 1 hour then run for 30 minutes and you get the same results.
Past that there's also other options like how many fan velocities it has (mine has 2 but it's always in the max anyway so it's done faster), if it has a delay timer (which can be useful to get it running in the middle of the night but will likely wake you up lol, I just run it when I wake up and before sleeping), if it has auto turn off when it reaches the level you want (which can be useful but I just set mine to run for 1 hour every session and then stop) or adjust the input/output based on the humidity level you also set (this one might be more relevant so you aren't sucking all the water out of the room with a more powerful dehumidifier running at full speed for 1 hour but to be honest I have no idea how mine does that because it's always running at full fan speed, the indicator it has does tell it stabilized the humidity and it doesn't drop further, dunno).
Ask the guys at your local electronics store too, they'll likely be able to help you out and also point you to available brands that tend to be more reliable (I have no idea, I bought what had best support in my area as it was a local company).
