Well since we're doing hypothetical stuff now let me ask you this.

Lets assume that there's a super race of humans somewhere in the mountains that are better, faster stronger, smarter and just all round better than whatever race you are now. The government has discovered a cheap way to turn everyone into said super humans for pennies on the dollar. They give everyone a choice to change or stay. Changing into said super people would completely and utterly change your way of thinking, culture, looks etc. People who don't change don't get any government protection from discrimination and such (that means if you apply for a job and they choose the super guy who applied for you solely cause you're an old style human you can't complain) or benefits (medicare, welfare or anything). On one hand becoming an Adonis would help society as a whole and not becoming one means you're a burden and get no benefits or protection on the other had changing completely wipes who you were as a person before. Would forcing you to change be unethical?
