Why do they give Battler blue eyes in the PS3 sprites? Colored eyes were associated with magic characters (who had fully colored eyes and sometimes no pupils to emphasize their otherworldliness). Others like Maria or Ange had a little bit of magic and had some really dark shade of blue or purple, mixed in with the black. But normal humans had black eyes in general. Hell, even Kinzo did, which made his young sprite, old man sprite and Battler look consistent with each other.

I think it's retarded that they gave Battler and many other humans colored eyes just because it's typical in modern anime. It ruins a really cool aesthetic detail.

Rethabile is in my opinion the one with the most incriminating "evidence" against her, if you look at the circumstances surrounding her brother's death à la Umineko : the moment she's able to obtain information on his location, that's where he is supposedly killed. Unreliable narration is Ryukishi's favorite trick so I thought maybe
