-The Winter 2023 Event is scheduled to start in late February.
-The Setsubun 2023 Festival has ended.
-There are 6 new quests, 3 Early Spring limited-time quests and 3 Valentine's 2023 seasonal quests. New equipment available from one of the quests is the Proto Night Zuiun (Attack Equipment).
-Fletcher-class USS Heywood L. Edwards (DD-663) will be implemented sometime in 2023.
-It is now possible to upgrade the T97 Torp bomber into its skilled variant and the Zuiun (634 Air Group/Skilled) itno the Zuiun Kai-II (634 Air Group).
-The December ranking rewards have been distributed. The new equipment is the Type 1 Fighter Hayabusa Model II (20th Squadron).
-New and returning Valentine's season CGs and voice lines have been implemented. It is now possible to hide the flagship to make the map visible in the formation selection screen.
-As of the Feb 28, 2020 maintenance, due to critical DDoS attacks, measures have been taken that requires players from certain countries to use a Japanese IP address to connect to the Login servers. After getting to the start screen it's possible to disconnect from the VPN and continue playing without it. If you still encounter connection issues try clearing your cache and changing your time zone to JST. These countermeasures will remain until further notice. EN EO now bypasses the block. Another possible workaround is using https://github.com/Tibowl/KCCacheProxy
