I can't fathom why people like you insist on corrupting and perverting genuine friendship between female characters with your sexual fantasies. It's sickening. Seldom in Japanese media do you see long-time friendships being dragged through thick and thin like Mary and Renko's without them inevitably serving a romantic subplot, and here you are, trying to cheapen and demean one (and a very good one) of the very few we've got.
