Such a wholesome scene. As the first windows game it really sets the tone of the series when the ending has the final boss visiting your player character's home and giving them a big hug. It really reinforces the low stakes and comfy nature of the setting despite the battle dialogue. I see people sometimes rag on Touhou plots as ending with everyone becoming friends, but I unironically love that aspect.

That having been said, please don't post ending screenshots. It's one of the only things ZUN asks of fans.
