If you slowed down from hundreds to 20 you have only yourself to blame, really.
But what should i do if i planned to have a party with mutant+shiva'ed dw pets? I'll get total 50 attacks per turn by default even without maxed out hands, timestop will only reduce damage.
And i spent around 400 hours on this save if you count preparations before making a gene and i'm only in the beginning of making that kind of party actually work. Should i just scrap this save on next update or keep old version just for this now?

Ano is a retard not because he wants changes, its because he doesnt think through all the repercussions of those changes, or disregards them completely. I respect him for investing so much time in developing it and making it entertaining, but still want to say: fuck you, Ano.

Have to note that due to no pierce on ranged weapons, vs lv200+ enemies piercing ammo gives the most raw damage, and you usually have a lot of charges of it on ammo. Rapid should be good with something like Railgun.
