My account's a week old.

I am particularly interested in getting the new sub (and amagi, but that's probably impossible).

I'm reading things about the event being difficulty-locked as soon as E1 is completed.
This means if I complete E1 in medium - I'll be locked into medium for the rest of the entire event (and can't switch back to easy?)

If this is true, I should restart my medium-E1-run and switch to easy mode, right? It's not worth the risk of not being able to beat medium-E3 (to get the new sub) for the slightly better drop rewards - and being unable to switch back to easy, right?
