As for acid ground, it doesn't scale exponentially, it scales linearly with her spellpower. The exact formula is 1 + spellpower / 10 + rnd (spellpower / 10 + 5). In practice that means with each other level in casting your wife will get approximately +0.6 to minimal damage and +1.2 to maximum damage, in practice somewhat more because most entities are weak to acid.
