I wonder what it feels like to have hobbies that require money. The whole idea seems so strange to me.

All learning is free because of the internet so I can learn anything without spending a penny, all of the entertainment I enjoy can be downloaded, I grow and harvest any of the plants that I would need for when I want to have a change of pace and explore my mind, and all of the instruments I own were one time payments.

Every hobby I can think of that is enjoyable is either completely free or requires a very small initial payment.

Why do you take pride in having a job? Every single second you spend there is one second of your life that is just wasted and you can't get it back.

Let me try to make this as clear as possible: You are doing labor that you do not want to do. Let's say that you sleep for eight hours, now you work a typical job which is eight hours, and I will assume that you take about two hours for unpleasant things relating to this like getting dressed for work, driving to work, driving home, etc.

There are 24 hours in a day, 18 hours of this is spent working, unconscious, or getting to work. You completely throw away 75% of your entire day every time you work. You probably do this five days a week for maybe 40 years if you're lucky enough to survive to/afford retirement.

How can you feel anything but horrible depression?

What exactly is this debate even about? Is it that some people don't think it's possible to create an imaginary friend that you can have conversations with or is it just a debate over whether to use imaginary friend or tulpa to describe this?

I'm so confused. What are we even arguing about?
