so she's saying we're not even close to being finished I want you to energize me more so I can go through the slog of life. yes, this can mean sex, but again it's irrelevant. it could be a girl telling her friends that they should go home yet because she's not satisfied with the night. it could be anything. it's just a person saying I need increasingly more of the things she uses to temporarily sate her frustration and dissatisfaction with life. The reason I come to this conclusion is just because of giri giri. it implies that where the other person or people seem to be satisfied she is not because she's been doing this for too long and the pay off is decreasing as he frustration increases.

a long stretch maybe but there is a logic to what I'm saying based on the lyrics of the song.

this to me seems like a person reaching out for a deeper connection with someone, this lends well to the theory of it being more related to sex.

the person doesn't like the deep direction things have gone and the point of view character is convincing them why they should connect more.

this comes right after the line, I want to feel emotions, good and bad, I don't care where the relationship ends up I just want something deeper even if it's profound for the wrong reasons.

okay, when I was younger I used to think this was some sort of commentary on loveless marriage but I would now wager that it's merely a reflection on the meanless enjoyment she gets in her life and how it continues the circle of unfulfillment.

it could be either or neither but I'd say it's the second as the former implies the message would be in theme with the rest but would be out of place due to its lack of establishment, unlike the latter idea.

While she lives out her life she spends her time thinking about other things, things that are more importent to her. whether this is how she got here, how she can get out or even aspects of herself that have died. this summary is a lot more of a stab in the dark and probably sounds like I'm reaching but it's not absurd to assume this is what it means.

now this clearly sets up the theme for sex clearly yet again it's the emotion it represents that is the point of the line rather than what it implies. when compared to other lines in the song it can also fit into any other kind of scenario listed that can be used in place of casual sex. however, it does seem to invoke the image whether indirect reference or to be drawn upon like a metaphor.

either way, it means that she's starting to feel a connection, this exact sensation is the one she's been looking for. whether the other person knows it or not this is the taste of satisfaction she's been looking for and she doesn't want it to stop just yet. it's exhilarating but it's not enough yet.

this line directly parallels with the other hook and connects to the verse.

but in hindsight feel free to think it's about anything. Fuck it it could be about an OL getting blacked for all I know.

I just think the lyrics are profound and like to belive even if I'm wrong that the meaning is at least as deep as the one I imagined.
