“Well, I guess this wasn’t a complete loss.” He speaks.
“How you figure?” I tell him, hand on my hip, I begin to count the reasons on my other hand. “We got thrashed by a Shrine Maiden, had her pry harder into our personal lives then a tengu looking for a scoop, and since our luck is so shit, Yukari probably saw all of it, so we’ll never hear the end of that. Hell, I bet that pervert Okina is watching just as well.”
“Yeah, about that, Voyeur number two, you want to come out now?” Goro asked.
From the ground a hole appeared and out of it popped two aqua blue hoops followed by a horrid woman talking in a voice ten years too young for her.
“Ahhh, no fun Goro-kun! Where’s that overt politeness you showed to Miko-san hmm? Or that impudent rage?” She asked.
“Sometimes it’s fun to be formal, other times it’s not my lady.” Goro shrugged. “Now care to tell us why you’re here?”
“Fine, I know when I’m not wanted so I’ll make this quick.” Seiga pouted. “Yukari has two missions for you freeloaders, the first was to help her gather intel on Hana’s ability, which you’ve already done a splendid job at.”
I knew it. If there was any constant in the world, it was that all sages and hermits were Voyeuristic perverts and now I was allied with another one. Just fantastic.
“I must commend you by the way, it’s rare Danmaku battles end in such a savage way let alone with two people being whipped! Although that was an admirable connection you two formed and a promising foundation for a new Danmaku style, say, are you two interested in Taoism?”
“Are you interested in my sandal up your ass?” I ask.
“You are the last person I’d ask to learn Taoism from and that list is long.” Goro remarked.
“Really! I can’t believe I share a side with sore losers like you two! But if you’re so desperate to get rid of me, I’ll finish my job as messenger and be on my way!” She began with a huff.
Great. What little errand did that purple clothed bitch want us to go on.
“So, have you two ever been to Hell?”
